Back on the blog and back in Salishan! After our awesome getaway last month, we decided to do a mid-week trip this week and it’s been so nice here (despite the cloudy skies and rain). You gotta love the Oregon Coast! Well, at least I do.

That’s the Siletz Bay and the view from our room.
There is an Aerial Park in the Salishan Resort and J and I decided to check it out yesterday. We went in the morning and were with a group of about 10 people. It only takes about two hours to do the course, and if you really bust balls through each obstacle, it’s a really good workout!
Putting the gear on was half of the fun!

Wow, I’m so outdoorsy. The guides take pictures and videos while your up there and send them to you at the end. Here’s one of me and J!

And there’s a platform 70 ft. up that had great views.

I was on one of the most difficult obstacles when J decided to take a picture of me. First, he had me take of my mask (scary). Then, he told me to smile. And you know me, I like to smile:

Then J said, “smile less.” Uh, okay. And he was right because I got this great photo!

Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I recommend it if you have a little time and want to run around in the trees like Tarzan!
I don’t think we have any plans today, but we’ll probably take a couple of walks to the beach. We head back to Portland tomorrow.
Oh and this is totally random, but look at this adorable apron my aunt made for me!

As you know, I love dogs and want to have 100! And I can’t wait to wear this when I get to bake again with my nieces and nephews and dogs. Thank you Aunt Judi!
Happy Friday!
You can never have too much fun! Someone has to have a good time these days, glad to see you are making the best of things. Cheers! Uncle Daniel
