The Festival and Halloween!

Well, guess I haven’t posted in about a month. Whoops. I don’t think I was that busy, just a lot of stuff going on. First, the Portland Film Festival was great!

I think that picture is from opening night and this year, I even managed to watched some of the films! Last year, I didn’t watch any. 😦 J and G volunteered and so did one of my best friends, Kirsten. We all had a great time!

After recovering from the Festival, IT WAS HALLOWEEN! Biff and I decided to dress up as Your Psycho Neighbors:

The frightening thing is that Biff and I dress up like this every day for our walks. I do wear a coat so the neighbors don’t see the weight vest…hopefully it makes us a little less scary looking. But yes, Biff now wears a muzzle for our walks. Apparently, he doesn’t like it when people get too close to me…or what he perceives to be too close to me. Ugh. It’s devastating and so sad. I’m trying to work with him, but he makes it hard. Dang dog.

On Halloween, Kai, Kennedy and Kaz all met at my brother’s house to go Trick-Or-Treating. I decided to go over to see them all dressed up before they went out for the night.

Leila (a friend of Kai and Kaz’s) went as Rey from Star Wars, Kaz was Black Panther, Kennedy was Mulan, and Kai was Spiderman.

They were so cute and already on such a sugar high that I could barely get them to stand still long enough to take pictures. Needless to say, I did not go out with them to Trick-Or-Treat and instead went home to enjoy a quiet night with my Hannibal Lecter dog.

Now, I’m getting ready to go to Costa Rica for a surf trip. I’m nervous, excited and so, so looking forward to the week away. It will also be my first solo trip since I went to Guatemala a couple of years ago. It’s about time…
