As I type this, I’m making my way to Seattle for the weekend! And this time, instead of spending 100 hours in traffic, I’m spending 100 hours on the train! Ok, it’s really only four hours and so far, I like it! The station in Portland is nice:

And it’s pretty comfortable on the train! The view isn’t bad either.

You’re welcome, I know you missed seeing my dumb face for a couple of weeks. I just got my hair trimmed and I’m still trying to figure out how to do it. I thought it would be easier if it was shorter, but I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing. Anyway, I’m practicing. And I still love it.

Let’s see, what else? Oh! G thought his back healed and went back to work yesterday. Well, he was wrong and now he’s home again. He doesn’t understand the whole “rest your back” direction from the doctor, I guess. He also thought he should go back to the gym on Tuesday. Fortunately, I told him that only a f*cking idiot would go back to the gym so soon and he listened. Phew!

Overall, I think I’ve been a very good nurse over the last week and a half. First, he didn’t die. Second, I didn’t kill him. And third, I made him cookies!

It helps that he’ll eat anything and I’m a food pusher.

And Biff’s been enjoying every minute of it.

Or maybe he just thinks we’re both morons. Whatever.

I have some pretty awesome plans while I’m in Seattle that include seeing Ali Wong! Party time. I’m really looking forward to it.
