As you may have noticed, I’ve had a few very different hairstyles over the last couple of weeks. And no, I haven’t had my hair done every day. I finally discovered wigs!! Back in November, I burned all of my hair off and it kind of became a mullet. I started thinking about alternatives to processing my hair so much and so often.
I’ve also had the desire to go back to a darker color – the grass is always greener. I made a comment to my hairdresser about going back to a darker hair color and maybe just wearing a wig when I want to be blonde again. To my surprise, she was like, “hell yeah!” So I actually started looking into it. The wig-world is an amazing world. There are so many colors, styles, curly hair, straight hair, it’s really overwhelming.
I was watching a makeup tutorial on Facebook (yes, I fell down the rabbit hole) when the makeup artist mentioned a wig she had recently bought. She said it was incredible, not too expensive and she loved it. So I checked out the website here and watched “wig shows” on candylover89’s Facebook page…it was fascinating!
I’ve ordered a couple of wigs from that site, but my favorite is the one named Carol (it’s sold out right now).
So cute, right?! I’d never be able to do that style with my hair and I don’t even want to know what it would take for me to make my hair that color. The best part is that it’s so easy to put on! I don’t apply any glue or anything, just put on a wig cap and throw on the wig. Seriously, it takes less than 30 seconds to do my hair. I’ve been able to wear it all day and had no problems. It’s pretty incredible and I get a lot of compliments. Who doesn’t like that?!
Never thought I’d wear a wig, or love it so much. Cheaper than one appointment at the hair salon, and it wears so well. Carol is awesome!
