The whole damn fam came over today to celebrate Mother’s Day!

(I can’t believe how much the kids have grown up.)

When I woke up this morning, I tried to find a picture of my mom and me (that wasn’t a disaster) and COULDN’T FIND ONE! I called her and told her to come over prepared to take some pictures.

And I think we got a good one!

We met earlier than usual so I could kick everyone out before midnight and had brunch.   I made cinnamon rolls and strawberry shortcake.  I used Minimalist Baker’s Double Chocolate Shortcake recipe.

So pretty.  I love that we already have strawberries this year!!  I think I overworked the shortcake a bit, but they were still really good. And I made coconut whipped cream so it the entire thing was vegan too.  Amazing.

Biff was a huge help in getting ready for everyone to visit.

Lazy.  He must have learned that from his dad.

And of course he was f*cking exhausted after everyone left.

Poor Biff.  He’s just a baby.
