After almost 24 hours of travel, we made it to Salema, Portugal!  And it is beautiful.

We’ve spent two days on the beach and I am so happy we started our trip here.

And so is George.

I went on a walk this morning and came across this beach…

I think it’s called Boca de Rio. It was a bit foggy this morning, but all that burned off within a few hours.

The cats run this place.

And I really love it. They wait for the fishermen in the morning and people feed them scraps at night. They are very funny and run all over the place.

But I just can’t get over the beach.
