On Wednesday, Kennedy turns one! To celebrate, we had a big party at our house yesterday.
Em and I worked all Friday to get things together.
We made a ton of food (which I neglected to take pictures of), had a drink table and a play dough table!!
Em made the play dough on Friday night and it was a huge hit with all the kids. As for the food, we had two kinds of chili (a turkey, pumpkin, white bean chili and a turkey taco chili), cornbread, spinach artichoke dip, a baked potato dip, punch, cupcakes, cake and a guaranteed carb hangover.
After we got everything set up, Kennedy arrived and got in her party dress!!
So adorable!
OMG, too cute.
Soon after, everyone started arriving. And all the kids loved the play dough table.
George even managed to sneak up on our nieces Julia and Natalie!
And of course we had to put Kennedy’s headband on Kaz!
(And my uncle Craig showed up too!!)
I’m not sure Kaz likes the headband. Maybe that’s why he always looks at us like this:
And you’ll notice that whenever a kid is around, my mom refuses to actually look AT the camera. One can only do so much.
I don’t have that problem with G. Here he is with his Japanese family:
Yeah, he isn’t very social.
I still have a few pictures to post, but I’ll post them tomorrow. I have to clean up all the kid sh*t around my house so I don’t go crazier.
HAVE AN EXCELLENT SUNDAY!!!
I love looking at all your pics. Such a fun loving family.
Thank you!! We have a good time together.
