I know, it’s been a while, but I’m back. I just had to share some pictures from the pumpkin patch yesterday. We went to Lakeview Farms in nearby North Plains, Oregon. I was kind of dreading it…kids, mud, rides, pumpkins <—didn’t sound too appealing. But I went along because I’m a masochist good sport.
Spoiler: I actually had a lot of fun.
Here’s the crew:
There were multiple cameras taking pictures so we didn’t know where to look. I wore sunglasses so I could just close my eyes and smile. Super smart. We’re “posing” in front of the train we rode over to the pumpkin patch.
I was shocked it could haul all of us around and not tip over. We even went through a tunnel!
Kai was so excited to ride the train!
Kennedy was doing her best to be serious about the whole thing:
Much like her cousin, Kaz:
All the sudden Kaz has turned into a little boy!
I was without my other half so I sat with mom and Tim like a loser.
On the way over to the pumpkin patch, we saw the boat we’d be taking back:
Cute, right?!
There was a short maze for kids by the pumpkin patch so the grandparents took Kai and Kaz through it:
Kennedy just wanted to pose for pictures:
Her boots, OMG, her boots.
Finally, it was time to get pumpkins!!!
It didn’t take long before we had two wheelbarrows of pumpkins:
Toya threw a giant pumpkin in that wheelbarrow before we left. And then we went to wait for the boat!!
It was a fun little boat ride and they even had creatures in the lake to scare us:
It was fun to see the train going back too.
Once we got back on land, we had to clean the pumpkins,
take pictures of people being idiots,
(Kennedy was not amused)
And we had to document Toya’s and Kennedy’s height in 2013:
Kennedy and I did a little shopping while we waited in line to pay for the pumpkins:
And then we took a few more pictures before leaving:
Happy Pumpkin Patching!!!
this looks like an awesome patch! love the boat ride back!
Kennedy is killing me with those boots! cute!!
