24 Hours of Camping, Part One

On Saturday, I met up with some family and friends to go camping for just about 24 hours.  AND WE HAD SO MUCH FUN.  More fun than I thought I would because, most of the time, I think my friends are complete losers…well, at least the ones I invited along for this camping trip (not really…okay, really).

First up on Saturday morning, I had to get the car packed and put the big luggage case on the top of G’s car.

George was kind enough to help out and then decided to vacuum the car out.  WTF?!  I think you’re supposed to vacuum the car out after you go camping.  Whatever.

Since George wasn’t going camping and I didn’t have to bring Jack, I picked up my friends on the way.  Meet Jeni and Jon!

And Jeni’s beautiful daughter, Sylvia:

The campsite was about 40 minutes away, which was perfect because I hated being in a confined space with those people.

Once we got there, Jamison, Elijah and I set up the tent.

Thanks Elijah!

This was JJS’s (Jeni’s, Jon’s and Sylvia’s) first camping trip together so I let them borrow some of our stuff.  JJS used our tent and I spent the night in the trailer with my Mom and Tim.   It actually worked out pretty well.  After the tent was up, Sylvia and Elijah immediately started playing Track Ball.

Max, the polar bear, thought all of it was a bit boring:

Even the idiot dog, Bailey, was bored by all of us:

Thankfully, these girls were happy to see us:

And I think Kennedy liked my hat:

Because she wanted to try it on:

Holy sh*t, she’s adorable!

Okay, that’s all for now.  I’ll be back tomorrow with some crafts, some food and some pictures of my sweet bed on Saturday night.

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!

Kennedy is super adorable, and Bailey looks like a puggle! S/he looks just like my idiot puggle, anyway! 🙂
