I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but I’m not a big fan of pumpkin. I know people go apesh*t over pumpkin-flavored everything, but I just don’t get it.
Anyway, last week, my friend, Lindsey, had her 4th shoulder surgery.
I know, totally messed up. For every surgery, I’ve made her treats to help her “recover” and this time was no different. She loves pumpkin and actually emailed me this pumpkin recipe a while ago.
And like the wonderful friend I am, I made her Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake!!

oh, i make that all the time for work things, etc. people do go apeshit over that. as an fyi to unsuspecting readers…i have even gotten marriage proposals from making that cake, so be careful who you make it for.
