No, I did not get mom hair. But my sister, Emily, did!! You all know what mom hair is, right? It’s when you have a kid and then chop off all your hair. To be fair, though, Emily’s always preferred having short hair. Sometimes she grows it out, but soon realizes she still hates styling it so she cuts it all off. And today was the day Em cut it all off.
So here’s the before:
It was early and she was happy…apparently.
She had her hair up for a while so the back looked extra nice.
Pretty. And so smooth.
While Em had her hair worked on, I hung out with one of my favorite friends:
At least someone loves me. Isn’t she so nice?!
We spent almost 3 hours at the salon. And Kennedy did really well. Ally, our hairdresser, kept her occupied for a little while…
And Kennedy couldn’t resist pointing at her boob. Kennedy is already hilarious!
And then it was time for lunch…for Kennedy.
I love her foot sticking out of the gown.
After Em’s hair processed, I took Kennedy while Em’s hair was washed out and styled. I rocked, swayed and bounced until I felt like my back was going to give out. And then a miracle occurred.
SHE FELL ASLEEP!!!!
I am the best babysitter ever.
Finally, Em’s hair was done. And, when you looked at the floor, it looked as if Ally shaved all Em’s hair off.
But no. Per usual, Ally made Em look amazing!!
I totally love it…even if it is mom hair.
Hope you all had a great Saturday!!!
Everyone’s life is better because I stalked Ally for weeks. You’re welcome.
So.so.true.
Her hair looks so good!! YAH for new mom pampering. Im partial to Kennedy’s since I gave birth to one, but that baby is so stinking cute! =)
