HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Don’t worry, I’m not going to do a recap of 2012. I thought about it, but decided that if you wanted to read about my 2012, you would just look at some old posts. I’m also not going to write about my resolutions or goals of 2013. Partly because I’m lazy, and partly because I haven’t made any. I might do that in the next few weeks, though.
The one thing that will (hopefully) be changing in 2013 is our location!! We’ve lived in South Jesus for 4 years and 4+ months, but it’s time for us to move back to Portland. Since October, I’ve put over 5,000 miles on my car. And we didn’t go on any road trips so that’s just driving to/from work and to/from Portland. WAY TOO MUCH DRIVING!
So we’re now house hunting! Super exciting and, at times, a bit terrifying…especially when we look at houses that should probably be burned down.
Beautiful.
And it’s pretty fun to see the houses George likes:
He loved the color of the carpet and that it was also on the ceiling:
And yes, those are mirrors on the ceiling as well. Romantic.
While I’m sure it would be completely amazing to live in that house, we passed on trying to buy it. Sad, I know.
Needless to say, we’re still looking and having a great time. Here’s to spending the 2013 holidays in a new home!!
good luck Marni and George on your search for a new home in Portland. xoxooxo
oh that ceiling has me rolling. all you’d need is a disco ball or a camera crew. that could be a way to make some extra money.
Happy New Year, enjoy house hunting!!!
House hunting sounds fun! Like you I haven’t thought of any real resolutions yet. Soon!
OMG, you guys should be on “House Hunters.” It would be a total blast. Loved the tacky carpet/mirror ceiling. Wild! Cheers and happy 2013.
A friend wanted us to apply for House Hunters, but I’m afraid they would make me be nice to G…so I didn’t.
