I created a dessert tonight. Don’t be too impressed because it’s not that impressive. Actually, it’s not impressive at all, but it tasted good and probably cost about 13 cents to make! I’m currently on a non-spending spree and refuse to buy any groceries. We are not eating anything but peanut and bread for the next 5 months…at least when we’re at home. Yes, George will probably divorce me and our cupboards are looking even more sad than usual.
So anyway, tonight I created this:
Yes, a fluffernutter sandwich with mini marshmallows instead of marshmallow fluff. So creative, right? Okay, it’s not creative, but it was a great dessert!
Here’s my recipe:
32 grams of crunchy peanut butter
30 grams of mini marshmallows
1 sandwich thin
And yes, we weigh our peanut butter and marshmallows. Well, actually, we weigh any food that can be weighed because we have no self-control and believe a serving size is the entire container…no matter what size the container. We need help.
And now I’m going to pin real desserts on Pinterest!
HAPPY DESSERTING!!!
“Flutternutter” haha! Love it!
Sometimes I’ll do whatever it takes to scrounge up something for dessert … but you won’t catch me weighing my peanut butter and marshmallows! Hope you’re saving up $ for something good!
