Basically, it’s been pretty boring around here. Although, for some reason, I’ve felt too busy and stressed out…and that means I have to wear my mouth guard to bed so I don’t wake the neighbors when I grind my teeth. So sexy.
Anyway, here’s a quick recap of the last couple of days. Sunday morning, I went for a run with Toya.
My sister and her husband pay Toya $1 for every lap she runs…I think it’s just to wear her out and keep her occupied for a little while. Incredible idea, right?
Last time Toya went to the track, she ran 12 laps. She wanted to beat that and on Sunday, she ran 15 laps! Pretty good. Fortunately, she runs slower than me (I didn’t think that was possible) so my fat self was able to keep up. So cool.
And I loved that she was so happy when she finished. It might be time for a 5k race!!
In other news, today marked the end of the second week that George and I lifted weights! I’m so proud of us. Usually, I tell George I want to lift weights and then I hate it, yell at him and want to punch him in the balls whenever we do something I don’t like. But this time, I found a new workout routine and we really like it! Yay us. The routines only take about 30 minutes, but are pretty intense.
See how intense G is?
We are doing 5 separate routines each week: legs, shoulders, back, arms and chest (and cardio most days). George doesn’t do legs, though, because he gains muscle in his legs so quickly, he can’t fit in his pants! What a fatso.
After spending time at the gym, I had to come home and take care of little Jack.
I totally burned the hell out of peanut butter dog treats earlier today so I had to make a new batch. And yes, our house still smells like I threw gobs of peanut butter in the oven and lit them on fire (I’m pretty sure that’s not a fragrance you can order from Scentsy).
So that’s what’s been going on around here. Hope you all had a great Monday!!!
