On Saturday morning, we decided to head out to the local farmer’s market in Newport, Oregon. We jumped in the truck with the parents and took off for town.
It was fun being the kids in the backseat again.
Have I ever said how much I love farmer’s markets? Well, I love them a lot.
The flowers:
The fresh fruit:
Watching G eat all the free samples:
All of it is great. And when we saw a bakery at the market, I almost flipped my sh*t.
There was a long line, so I knew we had to try something out.
G got a lemon sandwich cookie:
Hart couldn’t resist the pain au chocolat (croissant with chocolate in the middle):
And I had an amazing snickerdoodle:
Julia was double-fisting it, with a piece of cookie and a carrot. I asked her to put her cookie and carrot by her face so I could take a picture. This is what happened:
Perfect.
And then Laura bought George a lemonade:
Julia and Natalie are so lazy small that Hart and Laura had to carry them.
And I made mom pose with the market in the background:
And with me!
Don’t you love farmer’s markets?!!
