Back in February, I blogged about making my own laundry soap for $20.63.
I ended up with this much soap:
I didn’t start using it right away because I wanted to use up our old detergent first. However, by March I was only using my homemade detergent. And just look at how much I have left over 4 months later:
How cool is that?! And I love it. It works well on all our clothes, sheets and towels. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t leave any sort of scent on our laundry. So I add Downy to every load.
Which is still way cheaper than buying regular detergent.
TOTAL WIN!!!
Nice! Detergent is so dang expensive. I may try this!!
But you forgot to mention that I swear by Tide with Bleach for my whites. That’s why you liked my 90’s outfit for the 4th of July so much. Lol
I found a “recipe” on Pinterest for fabric softener! Hair conditioner, vinegar and water. I put it in the downey ball. Smells pretty good with the Suave rainfalls conditioner!
Omg, that is amazing…I might have to try it out!!!
