Are you sure that’s my dog?

I had no plans to do a post after I got Jack groomed yesterday, but when I saw the result, I couldn’t resist.

The last time I had Jack groomed and had his hair cut, he ended up looking like this:

His hair was much shorter, but he still looked like a golden retriever.

Well yesterday, I think I had a little miscommunication with the groomer because I didn’t even recognize Jack when he came out.

I started laughing so hard when I saw my little Jack.  I can only tell it’s him when I look at his face.

Poor Jack.  Fortunately, he’s pretty used to looking like a weirdo because I usually shave his hair into a mohawk in the summer.  Here’s Jack’s cut from last year:

I still love it like that.

Anyway, Jack seems to be enjoying his new bald look and is panting a lot less.  I’m sure there will be a lot less hair around the house this year too.

And his short, light colored hair looks pretty good next to Essie’s Fifth Avenue nail polish!  Win.

As usual, when we got home, Jack had to show the grass/weeds his new haircut.

Idiot.

i got my golden shaved a couple weeks ago, too. he looks completely different!

we call him our pound puppy now since he looks like a mutt. I think he likes it, though!

I love that they kept the hair on his head like a poodle! I love it.
