***Warning: There are a lot of pictures of my big, fat face in this post. I apologize.***
I’ve always wanted to be a model, but for various reasons (weight, height, face, etc.) I’ve never had the opportunity. Well, my friend, Misty (the mask-maker), asked me to model some of her masks so she could post pictures of them on her on Etsy website, The Masked Zone. Is it weird I’ve only been asked to model something that covers up my face? I’m not going to think about that.
But because I basically do whatever anyone asks of me, I said yes. And on Saturday we met up for a photoshoot. I was excited because I knew she was going to do my hair and makeup, but I wasn’t too sure about the pictures. G loves pictures of himself, but I’m way more picky and like only 1 out of every 100 or so.
Anyway, it ended up being a lot of fun. Here are some of the pictures:
But my favorites turned out to be the ones wear she crimped all of my hair. Although a child of the 1980’s, I never used a crimper so this was totally cool.
While I realize I will probably never be asked to be on America’s Next Top Model, I had a really good time and I think Misty got some pictures she could use. You can check out her site to see all the pictures she posted.
Aspiring model, probably not. But it was fun to pretend.
I LOVE the 80’s look! So fab
