A Good Breakfast

A few weeks ago, after I ran the Clubsport 5k, I went out to breakfast with my good friend, Ann Marie.  She wanted to try a new breakfast spot (to us) and I rarely never pass up an opportunity to eat.  We headed to the Tin Shed Garden Café in Portland.

It’s a cool place that even has a menu for dogs!  I should have brought little Jack.

I was starving by the time we were seated and quickly decided on the Spike Lee.

I really love Mexican food and I wanted to eat a lot of food, so this looked perfect.

Yes and please.

Oh and I got a side of cheese grits and fried potato cakes.  Just a little post-race carb loading.

After an incredibly enjoyable breakfast with Ann Marie, we did a little shopping and I even got a picture of us together!

Don’t you love pictures taken in a car?  Me too.

You two look MUCH better than I do after running a 5K! I’m adding that breakfast spot to my “where to eat in Portland” list!

I used to work with one of the owners of this place, Christie, years ago when she was a server at Newport Bay and remember when she first opened it! Glad to see its still thriving and I guess I need to go back for breakfast! Love it!
