Vacation Bloat

Well, we are finally back in South Jesus.  We had such a good time in Cabo, but we ate so much food I’m afraid to put on real clothes.  It’s going to be scary.

G and I worked out a few times while we were in Cabo.

The view was amazing from the gym:

That’s the pool at the clubhouse.  There were so many pools at this resort, but G and I only checked out two of them.  It was hard to go to a different pool when we had one at our house…with our kitchen conveniently located right upstairs.

Anyway, despite working out, G and I managed to gain quite a few pounds while we were away.  That’s just how we do!  Here are just a few of the reasons we are even fatter pigs now:

I can’t resist a caprese pizza…ever.

And G will never say no to lasagna.

That dish is actually a little too healthy for G and me…that’s why Vlad ordered it.  I actually ordered tempura at that restaurant (extra healthy, I’m sure) and G ordered this:

Some sort of beef entree.  I really have no idea, but he ate the entire thing.  That doesn’t mean it was good, though.  G will eat anything.

Oh and that same night, we had dessert here:

Blizzards are incredible.  It was funny because usually G and I would order large blizzards.  Well, Matt and Joy ordered first and they decided to share a small!  Umm, we don’t play that way.  G doesn’t share and I don’t think he’s ever ordered a small anything.  He got a medium.  I got a small.  And then G ate the rest of Karin’s when she couldn’t eat the entire thing.  I should have taken a picture of G walking down the streets of Cabo with 2 blizzards.  What a fatso!

Even though we ate tons and tons of food and I feel like I’m about to give birth to twins, I’d do it all again.  And probably eat even more food.  I think G would say the same.

  3. I drink like a fish on vacation…food comes second, but I still end up coming home with a couple extra pounds…but I agree, it’s worth it.

  4. Looks like a fabulous vacation. Everything looks so yummy! I’m sure you will run it all off! 🙂
