Warning: You are about to read what might be one of the lamest blog posts ever. I apologize in advance.
For years now, I’ve had an obsession with bowls. I don’t have a lot of bowls because I hate collecting sh*t, but if I decide to become a hoarder I’m getting a lot of bowls!
Here are some of my favorite bowls.
My mom gave them to us for Christmas and I love them. They are a little different with the detail on the edge and I love that one is slightly bigger than the other. It makes them look more homemade, which I love.
I got these bowls from the lovely Joy when we were in college and she took a pottery class. I don’t think she even knows that I still have them. She made a billion bowls and gave most of them away when the semester was over.
My favorite part is that they have her name on them!
Love.
So when I was in Kohl’s the other day and saw some cute bowls and plates on sale I had to get them! They are way different than anything else I have, but I don’t care because that’s how I roll. Balls to the wall. All day, every day.
I bought four salad plates and four bowls (2 in each design).
I bought the salad plates rather than the giant dinner plates because I have hopes that we might eat less food…obviously, we would actually have to put food on plates (instead of just eating from the container) to test that theory. A girl can hope.
Kohl’s also had a red pattern, but I liked the blue because it looks so much like summer. And in Oregon right now, its raining so much we’re almost floating away. I need any sort of summer I can get.
I also like that these bad boys are plastic, pretty inexpensive and I don’t have to keep them forever if I get tired of them.
Not that I really need any reason to eat, but if I did, I found another one.
P.S. This was not a sponsored post. Kohl’s does not know who I am and will probably sue me for taking such sh*tty pictures of their product.
I love the new plates & bowls; but I REALLY love eating out of them!
I LOVE Bowls. I buy them and hide them or lie about them being on a great sale when they weren’t. Or say I got it as a gift. I have a PROBLEM.
Love it! And lying about buying bowls is pretty f*cking awesome.
