Yes, it’s time for another picture from way back when. I saw this picture at my mom’s office and knew you’d all like to see it.
The funny thing, is that I thought I looked really good in this picture. That scares me because now I wonder what I looked like on a normal day-to-day basis. Scaaaaaaryyyyy, I’m sure.
Relevant background information: this was taken when I was 16, in the summer before my senior year (I didn’t turn 17 until October). This wasn’t the picture I had in the yearbook because I thought my “cleavage” was a little much. That is hilarious to me now considering how often I “inadvertently” flash people <—not Girls Gone Wild-style, but rather “oh, my top’s falling down” style. Classy, I know.
That is my natural hair color and I wasn’t punched in the face despite the fact that it looks like it’s swollen.
Do you look at your old pictures (ones that you thought were good at the time) and think holy sh*t is that what I looked like?
I actually think you look pretty good here. I can’t believe all that cleavage your showing!! you should be stoned.
With all that cleavage you’d think I’d be able to find a date. No such luck. Ha!
I think it’s great! At least it was straight sleek hair and not big hair like mine, oh who am I kidding I would still rock my senior picture hair if I still had that much hair, haha. Great pic!
Lol, yes! Something similar that has happened to me is when I have tried on something horrible (like some ugly, wacky outfit) and knew that I didn’t look good and then I asked my mom how I looked and she loved or said it looked great! …..Leaves wondering about the other times I DID rely on her opinion on some clothes or makeup…..yikes! But I still love her! 😉
You can’t rely on a mom’s opinion. Even now, my mom says I looked cute back then and I think “OMG, I would not have taken my child out in public” (<—reason #382 why I should not have children).
I still think you were a beautiful teenager…& still are!
I think you were beautiful than and beautiful now, as you get older you might want that swelling back! Something to iron out our happy lines.
Thank you…that is too nice! And you’re right, a little fat in the face tends to smooth out the wrinkles. Guess I’ll go have a cookie (or 10)!!
I remember this girl! Where is your tan jacket?
