After my mom and I played the harp for a holiday party, my mom’s friend, Gail, and Gail’s business partner, Melinda, hired me to play the harp at an open house for their business.
It was a pretty sweet open house with a lot of food!!
There was even a punch fountain…doesn’t everyone love a fountain?
I also tried out a new hairstyle. I usually wear my hair down (either flat-ironed or curled), but I wanted to try something different.
(Dad, I hope you recognize the necklace you gave me!)
Bring on the side bun! It took me about 45 minutes and 100 bobby pins to create, but it stayed in all night! I hope I get better at it so it’s not so much work, but I think it turned out okay for a first try.
And I was proud of myself for figuring out which side of my head to put the bun on for my harp playing.
Thanks Gail and Melinda, I had a great time!
On my way home, I stopped at my brother’s to torture my little nephew.
Mission Accomplished.
Loving the side bun …
I love your harpist hairdo! And please don’t bother my nephew, Kaito anymore!
I have been reading your blog for a year now. It is my favourite blog. You are so funny, you and G should have your own show. It is so nice to read a real blog. Not please buy this crap or look my job is a blog writer. I am so perfect. Even though I am vegan your post on food make me laugh. Also I think it is impressive you do not brag about being a lawyer. Thanks for making me laugh.
Thank you! Although, I thought I was saying I’m perfect. Back to the drawing board I guess. And I have nothing to brag about for being a lawyer…going to law school was probably one of the worst decisions I ever made. I did make great friends and I met G while in law school, but otherwise…a f*cking nightmare and a ton of debt.
What would you have changed your degree to instead of law? At least you do not have to be a denny’s wateriess at 35. HAHA
