Still Running

I can barely believe it.

I AM STILL RUNNING THE STREAK!

I didn’t think I’d be able to continue running everyday with the unexpected travel and everything that’s happening here in Chicago.  But.I.am.

And G even took a picture of me that blocks out most of my large parts!!!  Yay G!

Thankfully, there’s a treadmill here at the house and that’s made things a lot easier.  Although, I’ve been running at weird times…and mostly late at night.  On Thursday, it was about 11:10 pm when I started running!  That’s just about 2 hours after my bedtime.  And while I love to procrastinate, that pushed it a little too much.  There’ve been a lot of people here at the house every day (and most nights) and I try not to be a complete loser so I wait to run until people leave.  But when people are here until 100 o’clock (<—-that’s really late), there’s not much you can do.

Here’s the recap:

        • Sunday, the 25th: 6.51 miles
        • Monday: 1.35 miles
        • Tuesday: 3 miles
        • Wednesday: 1.25 miles
        • Thursday: 3.25 miles
        • Friday: 1.25 miles

Total running streak: 24 days

(You can read my other recaps here and here.)

So apparently I have 2 more days of the streak left (today and tomorrow).  We’re flying back to Portland tomorrow and then driving to South Jesus, so I don’t know if I’ll be able to get a run in.  However, I’m going to try, as it would be really pathetic if I failed on the last day.

Glad I could help keep the streak alive! It’s nice spending this sad time with you beside me!
