As you know, I went in to the office on Wednesday (I usually work from home). I’m not in the office that often and usually expect people to ask me who I am when I show up.
Needless to say, I was a bit surprised when a coworker (and CTW reader) gave this to me:
I was also a little nervous to open it, but did anyway because I didn’t want to be my usual rude self. And inside, I found these little balls of joy:
Bell ornaments!! I love them and I wanted to decorate with them as soon as I got home. However, there’s one problem…we don’t have a tree.
After thinking for a little bit, I came up with a great idea. And it involved this:
G and I bought this bamboo plant about 7 years ago when we lived in L.A. Considering how awful I am at keeping plants alive, it is a miracle this thing is still around.
And it can now act as our Christmas tree too!
Oh my balls, isn’t it perfect?! We think so…
Too bad we already sent holiday cards out because I think this one would have been amazing.
Thanks for the bells Joanne!!
It is!
It really is like the Charlie Brown tree because like in the movie the thing actually looks like it has more branches once it’s decorated.
I think that we should maybe get a fuller tree next year!
Oh my goodness, that’s adorable! I love bell ornaments, and what a perfect little Charlie Brown tree!
It looks marvelous! With the tree and your night light your ready for Christmas.
