The Streak Continues

I know you probably thought I stopped doing the Runner’s World Holiday Streak, BUT YOU’RE WRONG!

I’m still running.  Every.Damn.Day.

Even last night when I didn’t get home until 9:00 pm.  That’s right, I left the house for work at 5:30 am and didn’t get home until 9:00 pm (<—that’s my bed time, btw).   But I didn’t want to fail at the running streak so when I got home, I let little Jack outside, fed him dinner, changed my clothes and headed to the gym.

And made the gym dude take pictures of me on the treadmill.  He was thrilled (not really) and he was able to get some pretty incredible pictures.

Fortunately, I only ran one mile and got the f*ck out of there.

I love that you can see me in the mirror.  I’m an expert photographer.

Here’s the breakdown of my incredible runs over the last week or so:

    • Wed: 5 miles
    • Thurs: 1 mile
    • Fri: 4.5 miles
    • Sat: 1 mile
    • Sun: 3 miles
    • Mon: 3.4 miles
    • Tues: 5.45 miles
    • Wed: 1.15 miles

I really need to get a long run in this weekend.  Honestly, though, I’m pretty shocked I’m still doing the streak.  I guess I can fit in at least one mile a day…even when I barely have any time.  Hmm…

Wow!!! I’m so proud of you for not breaking your streak! I can’t wait to see you tonight!

  2. Hahahahahahahahahahahah my favourite running photos are the most embarrassing and hideous ones. So, pretty much all of mine.
Good for you for dragging your ass to the gym after a long day. I’m clapping.
