Yesterday we headed up to my mom’s house in South Jesus, Washington. We left 3 hours early so we could make a few stops on the way (the drive normally takes 2 hours). We did some boring things like get gas, go to the bank and return a movie, but once we ran all the boring errands we stopped here:
And went to my favorite aisle:
Bulk candy! It really doesn’t get better (or cheaper) than this and I needed to stock up on a ton of gum drops for a craft project.
I don’t know what was happening to my hair (or my bald spot) in this picture, but whatever. While I stocked up on gum drops, G sat back and drank coffee.
He’s so helpful! And before I knew it, we were back on the road. And G was eating a nice, healthy breakfast.
The breakfast of champions. I guess that’s why I’m not a champion.
Next up, the craft store:
I love taking G here…he has no clue what to do. He wandered around looking for wreaths, when we were actually there to find styrofoam.
We found it but then had to decide which one to get:
We decided on this one:
And we decided that every wreath should have a picture of me in the middle. I mean is there anything else with that much holiday cheer? I think not.
G started to develop his own craft ideas so I had to get him the f*ck out of there and take him to a place to distract him.
G loves any place where he can buy really tight shirts…and try them on in the middle of the store.
Just wait, it’s going to happen.
And he’s naked.
And no one seemed to mind. They just kept walking around like nothing was happening.
But then, the shirt was too big. And so he got naked again.
And we have a winner!
After our shopping extravaganza, we picked up these peeps and headed to my mom’s.
Up next: some cookies, some eating and some swag.
