We’ve spent the last day and a half in the middle of the ocean and today we docked in Cabo!   I thought I’d give you a quick tour of our lavish room and the gym.  G says hi.

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our room.  We’ve cruised before and our room was tiny so I was really expecting a shoebox of a room.  Fortunately, it was bigger than I expected!

We got the cheapest room available so it’s an interior room (no windows), but it’s not that bad.  We’ve also managed to keep our stuff pretty organized so I haven’t felt like kicking G to the hallway…yet.

And there is a lot of closet space (3 separate closets, one with shelves) so I was able to unpack all of my stuff and I don’t feel like I’m living out of a suitcase all week.  But take a look at this bathroom.

Love the colors, right?  Okay, not so much.  But if you’re into being able to go to the bathroom and wash your hands at the same time, you’ll love this bathroom!  We also got some pretty good FREE toiletries.  Like Caress body wash, toothpaste, lotion and a BIC razor.  Of course, now G is raiding all the housekeeping carts so we don’t have to buy body wash for the next 10 years.  Pretty ghetto, but that’s how we roll.

It’s pretty small, but there’s a ton of hot water and good water pressure.  Can’t complain when the cruise was pretty damn cheap.

So that’s our room and it’s serving us well.  We went to the gym yesterday and it was crowded.  Fortunately, I was able to get a treadmill right away and G found an elliptical right by me.  For those of you who have difficulty running on a treadmill on land, don’t try it on a boat.  You have to pay attention because you can still feel the boat rocking and sometimes it feels like you’re going downhill/uphill when you haven’t touched the incline button.  It was weird, but kind of made it interesting.  Also, I had a great view.

There’s a short walking track outside the gym so you can watch people walk by.  When there aren’t people walking by you can see the ocean in front of the boat and it is beautiful.

Okay that’s all of the tour for now.  Here’s a picture of both of us from the white party…there will be a more thorough post about that later.

I’ll just give you a small hint as to what happened…white is not my color and I look like a vampire in most of the pictures.  Guess I dressed up for Halloween after all.
