My Bucket List

Before I talk about my bucket list, I have to give a shout-out to SkinnyRunner who said I have a funny blog AND posted a pic of my big, fat face.  Thanks SR!!

Okay, now on to the bucket list…I kind of keep a mental bucket list of things I want to do before I die, but if I wrote it out, the list would be long.  I started thinking about my bucket list after reading this post by E from One Twenty Five.  She just hiked to base camp at Mt. Everest!

How cool is that?  And now that little hike was just added to my bucket list.  Oh, and to G’s too because he’s married to me and I make him do whatever I want to do.  Like skydiving!

Skydive 2

I can cross that off my bucket list as well as a few other things:

  • Sleep with a black man (that wasn’t really on my bucket list, but added it to make me feel more accomplished)
  • Work for a completely insane person
  • Take five years of French (and forget about 99% of it)
  • Start a blog

While that list is pretty impressive, I feel like I need to get more proactive at completing some of my bucket list items.  Things like:

  • Run a half-marathon (and a marathon)
  • Bungee jump
  • Visit every continent (especially Cairo in Antarctica <—-if you don’t understand this, you don’t watch enough of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Apparently, Melissa believes that Cairo is in Antarctica.)
  • Learn a few foreign languages
  • Travel to just about every country
  • Be best friends with Oprah

I really need to get started.

What’s on your bucket list?

Sorry babe, but Black people don’t climb mountains! We’re too scared of fallling off a cliff or freezing to death!

    Hi there
I have been a long time reader of your blog, which is by the way hilarious, but I have never commented. I had to comment on today’s post though as Everest Base Camp is on my bucket list, and I was lucky enought to book my trip this week for September 2012. Can.not.wait!!
    Anyways love your blog

I think it would be sweet to be friends with the Housewives.. of New Jersey, Orange County, and South Boston. Wait…

  6. I climbed a mountain when I lived in Japan and let’s just say it was highly overrated, and since I got mired in a volcanic ash-field during said climb, I think George’s fears are well-founded!
