I left for Seattle at about 2:00 pm on Friday. I had to stop in Vancouver to pick up Heidi on the way so we got on the road at about 3:30 pm. We decided to stop to eat dinner because we weren’t sure what time we’d get to Seattle considering traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. We stopped at this cool truck stop!
It was all decked out for Halloween, which was kind of funny.
You could even buy weird Halloween sh*t there too!
Heidi liked it.
We were excited because it’s now (sing it with me) “5…5 dollar…5 dollar foot-loooong…Anytober” at Subway. My sandwich of choice is always $5, but it’s more fun to sing the song.
Some people might eat half and save half, but I don’t know how to do that so I ate the entire thing. And Heidi and I also got some 44 oz.-ers. Go big or go home!
I love pop. I also love that we ate our Subway in…
…the McDonald’s section of the Travel Center.
We got to Kristen’s at around 7:00 pm so we made pretty good time and there wasn’t a lot of traffic. Kirsten hadn’t eaten dinner and she wanted to go out. While Heidi and I had already eaten, we were both cool with eating again. And off we went to Via Tribunali.
We ordered salads, olives and pizza!
It was so good! But the best part was the pizza scissors!
That’s Kirsten cutting the pizza. She vetoed about 98% of the pictures I took of her, but she approved this one. I think I might have an approved picture of her face that I will post later. For now, you’ll just have to admire her hands.
Oh and did I mention we ordered 2 pizzas?!!
Let’s just say I didn’t go hungry over the weekend.
Oh my goodness! I love how you make me look skinnier than I really am!
I’ve had a run in with the Kirsten photo problem too. But I will say, her hands are awfully nice and look especially good cutting pizza!
That pizza looks so yummy. I wish I could’ve been there to share it.
next time you go to Via Tribunali, you’ll have to get the Nutella calzone..delicious!
We were going to get that, but we ate way too much of everything else. Kirsten said the same thing!
