It’s Movie Time

On Saturday we went to the movies!!  When G and I first started dating we went to the movies just about every week.  That’s when we were ballers.  After traumatizing everyone at Macy’s, we went to Cinetopia.

It’s one of those fancy theaters like the went I to in Seattle.  It serves alcohol and has a restaurant and an outdoor fireplace!

We got tickets to see Moneyball in a movie parlor.  The movie parlor is a smaller theater (only fits 30-40 people) and it was for peeps 21 and older, which was nice.  Because it’s a smaller theater, it’s recommended that you get there 40 minutes early.  And because I’m crazy, I made sure we were there an hour early.  We had to wait outside the theater in this big booth until the theater opened.  So we took some pictures!

And had some random people take pictures of us too.

Finally we were allowed in the theater.  We got settled in and (because we were there so early) we were able to order food right away!

That was my view for the movie. Pretty nice, huh?  And here are some more pics of the parlor.

Pretty soon, we got some refreshments!

And then we took some more couple photos!

And I don’t know why it looks like I’m going bald.  I’m going to see my hair lady on Friday so I hope to get that situation worked out.

Then our food came.  First up, the fat pigs next to us got this:

And no, they did not share.  Fortunately, before George began fighting Jamison for some pizza, our food came!!

I had the hummus plate.

And G got a turkey burger with fries.

We both ate it all (well, I didn’t eat the olives) and the popcorn.  George even took Em’s leftover popcorn when we left.  Yes, we are that fat.

We had a great time and on our way out we each got a free ticket to see another movie (because they made us wait before entering the theater)!  How cool is that?!! Looks like we’ll be heading up there again soon!
